Generally speaking, open back headphones are much more comfortable than closed back headphones because they allow your ears to “breathe” and they normally aren’t as tight. However, the downside of open back headphones is that it allows more outside noise to come in. Closed back headphones are better at blocking outside noise but are less comfortable for longer sessions such as gaming.
